Mohamed Ali Salhi

Mohamed Ali Salhi is an Electrical Engineering student at the City College of New York and a builder focused on applied AI, computer vision, and community-first technology. He develops object-detection software and explores how intelligent systems can be made accessible, useful, and grounded in real human needs. Through EcoPower '26 with Brooklyn Level Up, he sharpened both his technical work and his ability to communicate it — from deploying multilingual community research to pitching a side project with clarity and confidence. Mohamed is grateful for the mentors and peers who push him to think bigger, for the communities that trust builders with their problems, and yes, for pizza. He is currently seeking AI and software engineering internships, brand and company collaborations, and opportunities to present work that bridges technology and people.
